At Proper Poke, we are committed to ensuring that our studio is welcoming and accessible to everyone. We strive to provide a comfortable environment for all individuals, regardless of their mobility needs.

 

We are proud to announce that our studio is now wheelchair accessible! The upper floor, including our bathroom, has been thoughtfully designed within the parameters of the Accessibility Canada Act (ACA). We believe in inclusivity and have taken steps to ensure that our space is accessible to everyone.

 

While there is a 7.5-inch step at the entrance of our shop, we have invested in an anti-skid 4-foot aluminum ramp to facilitate easy access. The ramp is foldable, making it convenient to set up and store. Its specifications include dimensions of approximately 48.03 inches x 29.13 inches x 1.97 inches, and it boasts a robust 600 lbs capacity. To better assist our clients, we kindly request that you inform us in advance if you require the ramp so that we can have it ready for your arrival.

 Our commitment to accessibility extends to our front entrance, where we have double doors that open to a width of 54 inches. This ensures a comfortable and unhindered entry for everyone.
