ID Requirements for Piercing

Clients who are at least 16 years or older must provide their ID for any piercing service. We need your ID every time you fill out a waiver form, even if you have shown it on a prior occasion. If you do not provide proper ID, we will not be able to pierce you and your deposit will be retained.

For our waivers; we must have valid, non-expired, government-issued photo ID. It must be the original; photocopies and photos of ID are not valid.

If you have any questions about acceptable IDs, please give us a call before your appointment. We don't like to turn clients away, so please double check with us if you are unsure!

We do not offer bridge piercings, surface anchors/bars, nipple piercings, tongue piercings, industrial piercings, daith piercings or genital piercings to clients under 18 years of age.

ID Requirements for Minors aged 8 - 12 years old

For an earlobe piercing service for a minor aged 8 - 12 years old, we require a free consultation prior to booking an appointment.

We realize most children under 13 years of age don’t have photo identification. If your child has a photo ID, such as a school ID or passport, follow the instructions above. If your child does not have a photo ID, you will need to bring in their original birth certificate or Care Card. From the parent we will need a valid, non-expired, government-issued photo ID.

If you are not the parent but are the legal guardian of the child, we will need official, original paperwork showing that you have legal responsibility for them.

We realize this can seem like a lot for an ear piercing. Please understand for your child’s safety, we need to establish the person accompanying them is either a parent or legal guardian and can make legal decisions on behalf of the child. If you have any questions about ID requirements, please don’t hesitate to give us a call or email.
